Jackson First Celebration
The Jackson Elementary 2015-2016 school year is off to a great start! Last week was our first full week of school and to close out the week, we had our first “Jackson Celebration” of the year. All students and staff gathered in the gym celebrate what we are doing well so far this year, and to go over some of our old and new school wide expectations. We also reviewed our “CR2 Pledge” and what stands for; Caring, Respectful and Responsible. We closed out the assembly with a fun game show in which Jackson Elementary students competed against students from another fictional Iowa school to demonstrate who is, in fact, the most caring, respectful and responsible school around. Jackson won 10-0, of course! Because of this, the students of Jackson Elementary won some free time to do an activity of their teacher’s choice such as extra recess. It was a great way to end a fantastic first full week of school!
